The transition into parenthood is a life-changing experience. While welcoming a new baby brings so much love and excitement, it can also bring exhaustion, uncertainty, and moments of feeling overwhelmed.
You deserve time to recover, space to adjust, and someone in your corner as you navigate this new chapter.
As your postpartum doula, my goal is to provide compassionate, hands-on support that meets your family's unique needs. Whether you need an extra set of hands during the day, someone to care for your little one overnight, or simply a reassuring presence during those early weeks, I'm here to help.
You don't have to do it all alone to be a wonderful parent.
The postpartum period is about more than caring for a newborn. It's also about recovering, adjusting, and learning to navigate life with a new little person.
Postpartum doula care is centered around supporting the entire family. My approach is flexible, nonjudgmental, and tailored to what you need most.
Postpartum support may include:
Newborn care, soothing, and settling
Feeding support, including bottle feeding and bringing baby to you for nursing
Diaper changes, swaddling, and babywearing guidance
Emotional support and a listening ear
Assistance with establishing gentle routines
Helping you recognize your baby's cues
Light household tasks related to baby and postpartum recovery
Preparing simple meals and snacks
Supporting your recovery by helping you prioritize rest
Providing reassurance as you grow more confident in your parenting
Every family is different. Some may need help with the basics of newborn care, while others may simply need someone to hold the baby while they shower, eat, or take a much-needed nap.
There is no expectation to have everything figured out. We will meet you exactly where you are.
Those first few weeks with a newborn can be some of the most exhausting nights of your life. Between frequent feedings, diaper changes, and interrupted sleep, finding time to rest can feel nearly impossible.
Overnight doula support offers you the opportunity to get restorative sleep while knowing that someone is there to care for your baby.
During overnight visits, I provide attentive, compassionate newborn care so you can focus on resting and recovering.
Overnight support may include:
Newborn care throughout the night
Bottle feeding with expressed breast milk or formula
Bringing baby to you for nursing and assisting with settling afterward
Diaper changes and soothing
Swaddling and safe sleep practices
Helping baby settle back to sleep after feedings
Monitoring baby's cues and communicating their needs
Washing bottles and pump parts used during the shift
Light baby-related tidying
Providing reassurance and emotional support for parents
My goal is to make your nights feel a little more manageable while respecting your family's feeding preferences, routines, and parenting choices.
Whether you need a few hours of uninterrupted rest or consistent overnight assistance, care is tailored to your family's needs and the services we arrange together.
You deserve to wake up feeling a little more rested, supported, and ready to welcome a new day.
A new baby changes the rhythm of an entire household. Postpartum support isn't just about the baby; it's about making sure parents and families feel supported, too.
I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment where you can ask questions, share concerns, and feel confident in your decisions.
Whether you're welcoming your first baby, adding another little one to your family, recovering from a difficult birth, or navigating an unexpected postpartum experience, you deserve compassionate care.
Partners are also an important part of the postpartum journey. My goal is to support them, too, while helping the entire family adjust to their new roles.
There is no one right time to seek postpartum support.
Some families arrange care during pregnancy so they have a plan in place before their baby arrives. Others reach out after birth when they realize they could use an extra set of hands.
Postpartum care can be helpful:
During the first few days after bringing baby home
Throughout the first six weeks of recovery
During the transition back to work
When sleep deprivation becomes overwhelming
Whenever your family needs additional support
You don't have to wait until you're exhausted or overwhelmed to ask for help.
I encourage families to reach out during pregnancy when possible, so we have time to discuss your needs and plan for your postpartum experience.
I believe every family deserves to feel respected, supported, and empowered in their parenting choices.
I won't come into your home with expectations of how things should be done. Instead, I'll take the time to understand your preferences, listen to your concerns, and provide care that works for you.
My role is not to replace you as a parent, but to help you feel more confident and supported as you grow into that role.
Sometimes the greatest support is simply having someone there who understands.
